Can adults use kids meals in the Walt Disney World dining plan? Also Spirit of Aloha Show??
Can adults use kids meals in the Walt Disney World dining plan? I read or heard that you used to be able to do that and wondered if you still can. I will be traveling in 2008.
Also is it good to use 2 table service points at the Disney’s Spirit of Aloha show? How is the show and food? I heard it no longer has Lilo and Stitch in it? Is that true?
Let me clarify: I don’t mean for adults to eat kids meals but for adults to use the kids points for other meals.
There was a time when adults were able to use the kids points, but you are no longer able to do that. The child must use the points for a kids meal.
On another question you asked about sharing meals, so I will answer that here as well. You are able to share meals, not everyone has to use a point when you dine. The only exception is at buffets, you do have to use a point for each person if you dine at any of the buffets, or any meals where the food is unlimited. When you get to the restaurant, the easiest thing to do is tell your waiter you are one the dining plan and this is your first time using it. They can help you and explain everything, if you have any questions they are there to help.
As far as Spirit of Aloha, it is not my favorite dinner show. It is okay, but for the money I think it could be a little better, and the characters are not there. I think that Hoop-Dee-Doo and Mickey’s Backyard Barbecue are better choices, but that is just my opinion. I think that the kids would enjoy the other two more as well. If you want to get the most out of your money, you should avoid the two point restaurants, you don’t save as much money and you won’t have enough food for the entire stay.
I personally like O’hanas a lot more. The food is fantastic, great environment, just a lot of fun. Plus, it is only one point. Kona is really great as well.
